8 November 2012 – The Makati Business Club and the Philippines–United States Business Council extend our heartfelt congratulations to US President Barack Obama and Vice President Joseph Biden for their renewed mandate to lead America and its people for another four years. We are confident that, under the Obama administration, the warm and strong relations between the Philippines and the United States will continue to flourish and mature, especially as the US pivots its focus towards Asia.
In the Philippine business community, we are especially hopeful for the further growth of our countries’ economic ties and investment partnerships. With the stable support of the Obama administration and our own government, we look forward to continuing and pursuing joint ventures with our counterparts in American business community that will be mutually beneficial to our respective economies and, more importantly, our people.
