WHO WE ARE
MBC started its Women-in-the-C-Suite advocacy in 2018 because we believe diversity makes businesses more innovative — producing more growth and jobs. We also believe it produces better policies, including policies that strengthen women’s rights to work, stay at work, and reach their full potential.
Our partners include UN Women, UNW-WeEmpowerAsia, the EU Delegation to the Philippines, and Philippine Business Coalition for Women Empowerment (PBCWE). In 2019, we produced our first report, based on a survey of and discussions with 200 executives and mid-managers in NCR. In 2021, we produced the national version, thanks to 210 executives and managers around the country.
