26 November 2019 — the Makati Business Club, the Philippines-U.S. Business Council, and the American Chamber of Commerce in the Philippines, hosted their annual lunch reception for the Filipino Young Leaders Program (FYLPRO) Delegation.

Started by Ambassador Jose L. Cuisia Jr. in 2012, FYLPRO identifies exceptional next-generation Filipino leaders from across the United States. The program provides its members access to a diverse network of industry leaders to help them in their pursuit to magnify the voice of the Filipino community locally and globally.

This year’s delegation is composed of 14 outstanding Filipino-Americans from different backgrounds: from law and public policy, health and medicine, arts and entertainment industry, technology and development, among others.

The delegates and leaders of the three organizations discussed a range of subjects including: (1) adapting technology as a tool to empower, engage, and educate the youth and Filipino community abroad (2) promoting social entrepreneurship among Philippine industry leaders (3) reimagining human capital as a means to collaboratively tackle challenges facing the Filipino community.
