09 November 2020 – MBC hosted a virtual farewell event for Japanese Ambassador to the Philippines, His Excellency Koji Haneda who will be ending his term in the Philippines this November.
The event was attended by representatives from the Embassy of Japan and MBC Board, who expressed their gratitude and appreciation for Ambassador Haneda’s work in strengthening Philippine-Japan ties.
“Even in the face of adversity, I have seen the spirit of the Philippines shine through. Similar to Philippine-Japan relations, we have stood by each other celebrating wins and turning challenges into opportunities,” said Ambassador Haneda. “Even as I go back to Japan, I will promise you that I will continue to promote the Philippines in Japan. I will continue to promote our bilateral ties,” he added.
