Pasigueños met in a face-to-face citizen assembly to discuss the proposed Cycling Advisory Board

8 November 2022 – On November 6, Pasig Transport, with the assistance of MBC and KAS, held a conversation in the street with Pasig City council representatives, citizens, pedestrians, commuters, bikers, advocates, and passers-by to hear their comments on the draft ordinance forming a Cycling Advisory Board on Emerald Avenue, Ortigas Center.

A total of 35 participants joined the discussion. Participants shared suggestions on budget, transparency, accountability, feedback mechanism, communication, and the composition of the board. MBC Senior Project Manager Catch Ofilada, Pasig Transport Head Robert Anthony Siy, Karen Crisostomo, and Toix Cerna led the discussion.

Feedback from the face-to-face public conversation and the online form will be collected and analyzed to help in amending and improving the draft ordinance. Know the overall results this November 15, 2022 (Tuesday) from 3:00 – 3:30 PM via FB Live at the MBC and Pasig Transport Facebook Page!
