Accounting & Admin Associate (HYBRID)

Makati Business Club is hiring an Accounting and Admin Associate with the following responsibilities in the midst of its recent and continuing expansion:

Role Overview
  • Prepare and file monthly Remittance Returns of Income Taxes Withheld on
    Compensation/Expanded, VAT returns, and other related government compliance
  • Oversee full accounting cycle, including compiling and analyzing data, posting and adjusting journal and ledger entries, and closing books
  • Bank Reconciliation. Reconcile monthly bank statements and resolve any discrepancies
  • Manages full Accounts Payable cycle: from invoice receipt to payment
  • Responsible for the processing of
    Government Mandatories (SSS, Philhealth and Pag-ibig)
  • Assist with inquiries and preliminary screening for new and renewed APEC
    Business Travel Card (ABTC) applications
  • Processing of requirements, releasing and submission of documents
Qualifications
  • Graduate of any business-related course preferably Accounting or Finance (Bachelor’s Degree or any equivalent)
  • Preferably at least 2 years of work experience related to accounting. finance, and bookkeeping
  • Attention to detail, analytical and being proactive would assist in performing the job efficiently and effectively
  • Good communication skills – verbal and written
  • Preferably familiar with accounting software such as Quickbooks
  • Familiar with submission and filing of BIR and other government mandatories
