Makati Business Club is hiring an Accounting and Admin Associate with the following responsibilities in the midst of its recent and continuing expansion:
Role Overview
Prepare and file monthly Remittance Returns of Income Taxes Withheld on Compensation/Expanded, VAT returns, and other related government compliance
Oversee full accounting cycle, including compiling and analyzing data, posting and adjusting journal and ledger entries, and closing books
Bank Reconciliation. Reconcile monthly bank statements and resolve any discrepancies
Manages full Accounts Payable cycle: from invoice receipt to payment
Responsible for the processing of Government Mandatories (SSS, Philhealth and Pag-ibig)
Assist with inquiries and preliminary screening for new and renewed APEC Business Travel Card (ABTC) applications
Processing of requirements, releasing and submission of documents
Qualifications
Graduate of any business-related course preferably Accounting or Finance (Bachelor’s Degree or any equivalent)
Preferably at least 2 years of work experience related to accounting. finance, and bookkeeping
Attention to detail, analytical and being proactive would assist in performing the job efficiently and effectively
Good communication skills – verbal and written
Preferably familiar with accounting software such as Quickbooks
Familiar with submission and filing of BIR and other government mandatories
