2023 Annual General Meeting





















13 July 2023 –MBC held its 2023 annual meeting and reception at the Ayala Museum on July 17. The museum, usually closed on Mondays, opened to MBC members its exhibit of Juan Luna’s long-lost and recently-revealed “Hymen, oh Hyménée!” The 20-minute annual meeting was capped by remarks by diversity chair Aileen Judan Jiao, welcome remarks by BPI SVP Mariana Zobel de Ayala, and a raffle of five generous gift cards from SSI Inc. Members then enjoyed cocktails and camaraderie, with wine from Philippine Wine Merchants Inc.
Members elected six members of the board for two year terms, including Peter Maquera (Microsoft). Incumbents Doris Magsaysay Ho (A. Magsaysay, Inc.), Rizalina Mantaring (Former Sun Life Financial Holdings), Jose Victor Paterno (Philippine Seven Corp.), Ramon Del Rosario, Jr. (PHINMA Group), and Jaime Augusto Zobel De Ayala (Ayala Corp.) were re-elected. They join five other members elected last year.
MBC congratulates members who won in the raffle draw during this year’s AGM. Winners brought home a generous gift card from SSI Group – Florina VIstal (US ASEAN Business Council), Atty. Emerico De Guzman (ACCRALAW), Amb. Luc Veron (EU Delegation), Chito Santos Maniago (Pfizer), and Atty. Perry Pe (Romulo Law)
Sr. Director Michelle Dee, Head of Membership & Events Bianca Malonzo, and Director Catch Ofilada announced the early bird and raffle draw winners. The winners each brought home Php 10,000-worth of gift certificate from SSI Group.
