Workshop/Training Facilitator

The Makati Business Club, in collaboration with USAID, will be implementing this year’s Digital Democracy program, a process which encourages participation and good governance in LGUs. 

We are looking for one (1) Workshop/Training Facilitator to plan, guide, and manage the training of government officers on the Digital Democracy process which promotes the use of technology to speak with citizens and communities. Project engagement is for three (3) months, and will be on a highly flexible work set-up.

Duties and Responsibilities

The workshop facilitator will:

  • Create and design the final assessment
  • Craft content and facilitate two workshops/trainings targeted towards LGU employees and CSOs which includes creating the presentation for the workshop 
  • Prepare a pre-training and post-training assessment to measure the baseline understanding of Digital Democracy principles
  • Prepare one evaluative activity report conducting an assessment of the activity and its success at reaching learning objectives
  • Coordinate with the breakout room facilitators for the workshop.
  • Create a framework for the capstone project (including judging criteria) – which will be judged by experts.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a Training Facilitator, Training Coordinator or similar role
  • Knowledge of traditional and modern educational techniques
  • Ability to complete full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor and evaluate)
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • BSc degree in Education, Human Resources Management, Organizational Psychology, Public Administration, Social Sciences or relevant field
