Events and Communications Officer

Makati Business Club is looking for one (1) Events and Communications Officer to assist in the preparations for its Food and Agricultural Summit. The officer will be working with a young, fun, and dynamic staff.

This is on a highly flexible work set-up. 

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist in follow up and sending sponsorship / partnership letters for the Summit. 
  • Work closely with the Membership and Events Team and Comms Manager for the successful organization of the Summit
  • Attendee Management (i.e., inviting attendees, leads in registration and coordination with attendees, monitoring of email and respond to all event related queries in a timely manner, and monitoring, tracking, and reporting of attendees, etc.)
  • Event Management (i.e., preparation of event program,  coordination with speakers, event briefing and dry run, etc.) 
  • Supplier Management (i.e., researching and getting suppliers, and coordinating with them on the day of the event)
  • Post-event Management (i.e., sending of thank you letters to attendees and sponsors, generating post-event report for partners and analyze the event feedback forms received, updating the attendance summary report and members engagement sheet , etc.)
Qualifications
  • Graduate of HRM, Management, or any related course.
  • Effective oral, writing, and presentation skills.
  • Familiar with Google Workspace, proficiency in Sheets is a plus.
  • Highly creative, resourceful, and can work with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Experience in membership based organization or customer service and relationship building position is a plus.
