Policy & Projects Officer
Makati Business Club is looking for one (1) Policy and Projects Officer, who will be working with a young, fun, and dynamic staff on a hybrid set-up.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop policy work in the areas of agriculture & food security
- Produce actionable plans for such initiatives, presenting to and discussing with various partners and principals from government and private sectors
- Build and manage relationships with partners and potential partners, and work with heads to obtain funding or funded projects
- Produce clear, concise, and accurate briefers, reports, research, and position papers in a timely manner
- Lead legislative monitoring and assist with legislative advocacy
- Assist Programs and Policy Director especially in strategizing conceptualizing. and executing MBC projects
Qualifications
- 3 years of experience, background in policy advocacy in Congress or expertise in food security preferred
- Strong organizational skills
- High initiative and a team player
- Strong communication skills, with an emphasis on excellent writing skills
