HR & Admin Manager

 

Makati Business Club is looking for an HR & Admin Manager who will oversee all aspects of human resources and administrative operations within the organization. This role ensures the alignment of HR strategies with business goals, fosters a positive workplace culture, and manages effective administrative support to maintain organizational efficiency. This is a regular position, who will be working with a young, fun, and dynamic staff.

Duties and Responsibilities

 Human Resources Management:

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent.
  • Oversee the hiring process, including job postings, interviews, and onboarding of new employees.
  • Design and implement performance appraisal systems to evaluate employee contributions.
  • Support managers in setting clear performance goals and conducting regular reviews.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for employee concerns, ensuring resolution in a fair and timely manner.
  • Promote a positive workplace culture through engagement activities and conflict management.
  • Oversee employee benefits programs, and compliance with labor laws.
  • Periodically review and update compensation structures to remain competitive in the market.
  • Identify training needs and coordinate professional development initiatives for staff.
  • Facilitate workshops, leadership training, and other upskilling opportunities.
  • Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures in line with legal requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and industry regulations.

 

Administrative Management:

  • Supervise day-to-day administrative functions, ensuring smooth operations across departments.
  • Manage office facilities, supplies, and equipment procurement.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, including contracts, performance data, and disciplinary actions.
  • Ensure proper documentation and archiving of organizational records.
  • Manage relationships with service providers, suppliers, and contractors.
  • Negotiate contracts and monitor adherence to agreed terms.

Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Experience: At least 2-3 years of progressive experience in HR and administrative role
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Strategic thinking with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
