Global & Diversity Engagement Officer
Makati Business Club is looking for a Global & Diversity Engagement Officer who will play a critical role in fostering meaningful connections within MBC’s ecosystem by managing two key committees: Global Ideas (focused on Next Generation Leaders) and Women in the C-Suite (focused on Women Executives). The officer will also lead the MBC Global Leaders Program to ensure smooth coordination of high-level engagements and actively support membership growth initiatives. This is a regular position, and the Officer will be working with a young, fun, and dynamic staff.
Duties and Responsibilities
Committee and Program Management
Serve as the primary engagement lead for the Global Ideas and Women in the C-Suite committees, ensuring their strategic goals and initiatives are met.
Regularly engage committee members to solicit feedback, foster collaboration, and align efforts with organizational priorities.
Oversee the execution of the MBC Global Leaders Program, including identifying and inviting high-level global executives as guest speakers for key MBC activities.
Conceptualize engagement plans to visiting high-level executives to strengthen their connection with MBC.
Event Management
Lead external coordination with guest speakers, their teams, and relevant stakeholders to ensure seamless events.
Plan and execute event dry runs to ensure preparedness and smooth program flow.
Assist in sourcing supplementary or opportunistic funding for events and programs, leveraging partnerships and sponsorship opportunities.
Membership Growth
Support the Membership and Events Head in recruiting new member companies, particularly those with Next Generation and Women Leaders.
Qualifications
Graduate of Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Collaborative mindset and ability to work in a cross-functional team.
Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver under tight deadlines.
Excellent organizational skills, with attention to detail and proactive problem-solving abilities.
Strategic thinking with experience in event logistics, program planning, and sponsorship development
Adaptable, resourceful, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Passion for fostering leadership development, gender equity, and global innovation.
Minimum 3 years in event coordination, stakeholder engagement, or program management.
Experience working with high-level executives or C-suite leaders is highly preferred.
