Membership & Events Officer

Join the Makati Business Club and help build meaningful relationships with the country’s leading business leaders. As our Membership & Events Officer, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional member experiences and organizing high-impact events that support MBC’s mission.

Responsibilities

 

  • Communicate and build relationships with members through personalized outreach, newsletter distribution, and daily inquiries.
  • Coordinate event programs, including scheduling meetings, managing program flows, preparing logistics, and aligning with speakers, partners, and suppliers.
  • Administer the end-to-end event registration process, attendee tracking, and post-event feedback collection.
  • Maintain and update membership and event databases to ensure data accuracy and high communication reach.
  • Conduct data analytics on communication platforms to monitor member communication performances
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, International Relations, Communications, Business Administration or related field.
  • At least 2 years of relevant professional experience in stakeholder relations and event coordination. Experience within an industry association, non-profit, or
    high-level relations environment is a significant advantage.
  • High proficiency in English, with the ability to draft formal correspondence for executive-level stakeholders.
  • Excellent oral and written skills for professional engagement with members and high-level stakeholders.
  • Ability to coordinate program flows, speaker requirements, and supplier logistics for seamless event execution.
  • Ability to work well with others and maintain a service-oriented attitude with all members and stakeholders.
  • Capacity to address member concerns and logistical concerns with a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple timelines for communications and events.
