ADOPT-A-COOPERATIVE PROGRAM

Farmer and fisher cooperatives are important to agricultural productivity in the Philippines, yet many struggle with limited access to finance and markets, weak business and management capacities, and inadequate infrastructure and technology. These barriers restrict their ability to scale, move up the value chain, raise incomes, and sustain long-term growth.

The Adopt-a-Cooperative initiative, aligned with MBC’s agriculture advocacy, offers a strategy to transform cooperatives into key drivers of inclusive and sustainable agricultural development. By fostering multi-stakeholder collaboration, strengthening capacities, and improving market access, the initiative aims to position cooperatives as engines of inclusive and sustainable agricultural development, benefiting farmers and the broader agricultural sector alike.

AGRIBIZ CONNECT: EXHIBIT LINKING FARMERS AND OPPORTUNITIES

AgriBiz Connect is an exhibit designed to create meaningful conversations that lead to concrete partnerships, whether through direct sourcing, investment, technology pilots, or advisory support. Exhibit representatives will discuss their models, explore collaboration opportunities, and identify how MBC members can help scale solutions that raise farmer incomes, strengthen value chains, and secure the nation’s food future.

Our exhibitors represent a diverse group of agri-entrepreneurs and platforms working across the value chain, from digital market access and agri-tech solutions to sustainable production and large-scale agroforestry. Each organization brings practical models and on-the-ground experience aimed at increasing farmer incomes, improving supply chain efficiency, and strengthening the country’s food systems.
