Project Officer - Golf Tournament

The Golf Tournament Project Officer is responsible for coordinating the MBC’s Annual Golf Tournament on November 6, 2026. 

The role provides technical and operational support on sponsorship coordination, database management, and events management.  Specifically, this position will anchor the logistics for MBC’s Golf Tournament, overseeing confirmation and delivery of raffle prizes, giveaway items, and trophies, coordination and confirmation of golf players, equipment sourcing, and event day support.

Responsibilities

Coordination and Database Management

  • Confirm corporate representative details as endorsed by MBC’s Sponsorships Officer
  • Coordinate the turnover and proper documentation of giveaway items and raffle prizes from sponsors, ensuring all prizes are received and ready for the event.
  • Coordinate trophies’ designs with Communications Team and ensure production and delivery of items are on time
  • Help manage Golf Sponsorship outreach efforts, including sending emails and follow up with potential partners.
  • Coordinate with confirmed sponsors and partners on their booth requirements and logo use
  • Coordinate with MBC’s contracted golf events supplier
  • Create and maintain a masterlist of confirmed players for the Golf Tournament, giveaway items, and raffle prizes
  • Respond to relevant partners’ and corporates’ inquiries related to the Golf Tournament

Events Management

  • Assist with the logistical and coordination requirements for MBC’s Golf Tournament 2026 and ensure smooth event delivery.
  • Assist with the preparation and writing of the Emcee Guide, and other relevant materials to the Golf Tournament.

Other Duties

  • Performs other related duties that may be assigned from time to time 
Qualifications
  • Must be a graduating student or recent graduate of International Relations, Political Science, Economics, Diplomacy or other related fields
  • Strong communications skills (verbal and written), detail oriented, organized and proactive, and can work with minimum supervision
  • Can write and speak professionally. Able to draft emails and accept calls from partners 
  • Shows friendliness, respect and professionalism. Able to engage partners and sponsors.
  • Keeps files and databases updated.
  • Demonstrates strong attention to detail.
  • Works well with different departments.
  • Provide support when needed
  • Offers ideas to improve processes.
  • Maintains confidentiality and represents the organization well
