Adopt-a-Cooperative Program Training Provider
We invite qualified individuals or firms to submit proposals to deliver targeted coaching and mentoring to a coffee cooperative in Bukidnon. The selected provider will strengthen the cooperative’s organizational development (OD) and financial management capacities, addressing leadership/governance challenges, financial recordkeeping, internal controls, and operational role clarity to boost overall performance.
Location: Malaybalay, Bukidnon (in-person trainings required)

Reports to: Grants and Projects Manager

DETAILS OF THE APPLICATION
- Conduct an initial assessment of governance, leadership, financial, and operational systems to validate key findings.
- Deliver tailored coaching to leadership (General Manager, OIC, Board Members) on continuity, transparency, and collaborative governance.
- Provide financial management training/mentoring for the bookkeeper and accountant on bookkeeping, internal controls, recordkeeping, and reporting to modernize manual processes.
- Train staff on tools for financial accuracy and accountability.
- Facilitate workshops/mentoring to define roles, responsibilities, job descriptions, and performance expectations.
- Assist in drafting/refining employee contracts and an employee handbook for formalized HR policies.
- Monitor training effectiveness, provide feedback, and prepare progress reports on improvements and challenges.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Organizational Development, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Cooperative Management, or related fields.
- 5+ years in training/coaching/mentoring on OD and financial management, ideally with cooperatives or community organizations.
- Expertise in cooperative governance, leadership, HR principles, financial systems, bookkeeping, and reporting.
- Strong facilitation, coaching, and communication skills in English and Filipino; Bisaya knowledge required.
- Ability to handle sensitive issues professionally, collaborate with stakeholders, and maintain confidentiality.
- Additional: Based in or near Malaybalay, Bukidnon, with willingness for on-site visits/hands-on mentoring. Familiarity with manual/digital systems in small-medium cooperatives is an advantage.
- Ability to converse in the local language (Bisaya/Cebuano) is required.
Submit a concise proposal including:
- Cover letter outlining your understanding of the role and approach.
- Proposed budget (daily rate, total cost, travel expenses).
- CV(s) of key personnel.
- Portfolio of past work (e.g., training modules, reports, client testimonials, especially with cooperatives).
Proposals will be evaluated on expertise, relevance, cost-effectiveness, and local capacity. Shortlisted providers may be invited for interviews.
