27 February 2013 – Entering the homestretch of the 15th Congress, the House of Representatives and the Senate managed to pass several more pieces of legislation when session resumed after the holiday break. However, the session, which lasted from 21 January to 6 February, has already adjourned to give way to the start of the campaign period for senatorial and party-list representative posts, beginning on 12 February, and for locally-elected officials, beginning on 29 March.
