Share your events and milestones with the MBC community!

The MBC Member-to-Member platform is a dedicated space for showcasing initiatives from our members and partners—including events, publications, and exclusive offerings. Featured content is shared through the MBC website and a special monthly mailer, helping members stay connected and engaged with each other’s work. On the other hand, corporate milestones (i.e. major anniversaries, expansions, awards, leadership transitions) are highlighted on MBC's social media and regular weekly mailer. Email us at makatibusinessclub@mbc.com.ph for more details.

UK seeks business input on future trade with the Philippines

The United Kingdom has launched a public call for input to seek views from British and Filipino businesses, investors, industry organisations, and stakeholders to help shape the UK’s future trade policy approach towards the Philippines. Insights gathered will inform the UK Government’s assessment of how the Philippines’ potential accession to Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP) could support economic growth, strengthen commercial ties, and create new opportunities for businesses in both countries.

CSR OPPORTUNITIES WITH AGREA FOUNDATION

As part of MBC’s commitment to advance the agricultural sector and improve the lives of Filipino farmers, MBC’s secretariat team visited one of AGREA Foundation’s farming sites—the Payatas Garden of Hope—to explore collaboration opportunities. Once a landfill, the site was transformed into a livelihood, food, and nutrition source for various families through the dedication and cooperation of women urban farmers.

AGREA seeks funding through CSR initiatives to scale up the Women Food Producers Association (WFPA), including the WFPA Payatas. The community also welcomes corporate partners for a farm tour, offering hands-on activities on sustainable urban farming. Visitors will have the opportunity to hear about the stories, aspirations, and dream livelihood programs of the WFPA members.
