- Partner business associations, advocacy groups, non-profits
- Embassies and international agencies
- Can be based in or outside Metro Manila
MBC Membership is by invitation of the board, which considers future members at least twice a year.
Our members enjoy a range of privileges
Leading Decision Makers and Thinkers
Over the 3 years of the pandemic, we organized gatherings with the country’s 15 top CEOs for members to exchange notes on Leading in Extraordinary Times. In 2023, we resumed our Global Leaders series featuring executives and other luminaries/stars from around the world to inspire Philippine executives to think, act, and compete more globally. We believe this is essential to make the Philippines the talked-about innovation, growth, and job-creation leader in the region and the world.
Working with Government
Even before Inauguration Day 2022, we started visiting newly-appointed and elected officials to offer our help and discuss the business sector’s areas of interest. By end-2022, we visited 12. While this continues, we also invite top economic officials to meet our members. In 2022, the “F2F with Cab Secs Series” featured six top economic officials, with more to come in the future. Moreover, our members work directly with the government by serving in key public-private councils.
Visa-Free Travel
MBC is one of three organizations accredited by the DFA to endorse applicants for the APEC Business Travel Cards (ABTC). The ABTC allows the holder to travel visa-free to 19 economies and skip lines at their airports. As the pandemic lifts, members are getting (or renewing) (ABTC) for themselves and their executives.

MBC leads business in policy advocacy for PH renewable energy transition, digital transactions taxes and the digital economy, and the PPP act among other developments in infrastructure. MBC also has a strong local government advocacy via member meetings with Metro Manila mayors and digitalization training for LGU business development departments.
